FT: Lakland 55-01 with upgrades

Hey guys,

I bought this a few months ago from a fellow tb'er.

It has nordstrand big singles with nordstrand preamp:
3B-5b
PREWIRED - 3 band bass preamp with volume (pull passive), blend, tone, push pull frequency selector on mid, and treble/bass stack

This bass sounds killer with these pickups.
I do have to say that when I purchased the bass the preamp was wired VERY badly. I paid a tech to fix I and now there are no issues.
There is a know space vacant do to the nordstrand preamp only needing 5 spaces as opposed to the lands preamp needing 6.
There is a screw missing on the A string tuning machine. I ordered a new one from lakland but when I received it it was the incorrect one. Currently waiting on the correct one. Finally there is a bit of wear on the neck finish. This is simply discolouring and cannot be felt at all.

Comes with a MONO padded bag.

I would REALLLLYYYY prefer to trade for a carvin SB5000 or another carvin 5'er but I'm open to offers.

Nice bass! What color is that? It looks like a dark stain.

Also, I am thinking that somewhere along the road, this bass had other preamp than the original MK-1 and the current one. The original preamp on the 55-01 only has 5 knobs as well: bass, mid, treble, blend, volume. Only the 55-02 and the 55-94 have the six holes on it.

It's a sunburst and as far as I know it's only been original and nordstrand.

Ok so apparently the tb'er I bought it from purchased it like this. He said the previous owner had an Aguilar preamp in it previously.
