FT - Lakland DJ5

It's been forever that I've had this bass, but I drum more than anything now and only really use this bass to compose. I've realized that I really don't need a 5-stringer, and am looking to go back down to 4. I would absolutely love a DJ4, also with Aeros in either the same color or lake placid blue. I absolutely love this bass and that extra string is the only thing that makes it perfect.

I'm looking at Warwicks, Spectors, Sadowskys, possibly something with a P/J set-up or another modern jazz bass (all 4-stringers). That being said, another Darryl Jones 4 with Aeros (or even Lindy Fralin pickups) is king. Please, no offers for amps, cabs, etc.

The bass is pretty much in perfect condition. The only thing that really shows any wear is the pick guard. Again, it has the Aero pickups, not Lakland. It comes with a Lakland gig bag, as well as the original white pickguard.

For those not familiar with the Aero pickups, check out the Jazz pickup shootout. Here's a summary: THEY ARE AWESOME!!!

Bump for a good guy, a great bass, and hopefully a quick deal. I know xEriatarka will do his part perfectly, so come on TB!

The bass is still available.

I also forgot to mention that I'm not interested in a sale at this time.

I don't think he realizes how profitable selling a DJ5 can be right now.

As of right now, the bass is still here.

I'm looking at Warwicks, Spectors, a Rumblefish, maybe a Bongo HH, possibly something with a P/J set-up or another modern jazz bass (all 4-stringers). That being said, another Darryl Jones 4 with Aeros is king. Please, no offers for amps, cabs, etc.

Then I don't get why you wouldn't trade your bass for US currency and then purchase a DJ4 [especially if that's the one you'd much rather have]?

It seems the chance of finding someone trying to get rid of a DJ4 and and looking for a DJ5 is pretty darn slim. at least with $ in hand you could be first in line for any DJ4 that comes along, whether that be for trade or sale.

Bump..
