Before I list this bass for sale, I've decided to see what trades could be out there. I am looking to trade up and have as much as $450 to add for the right trade. It can ship in a HSC, although its a few year old roadrunner case, with a hinge missing.....on to the details...
1st....I play this bass. There are some scratches and one small nick on the body as documented in the pictures. There are a few nicks in the top of the headstock, also documented in the pictures. There is some belt rash, although nothing major and none of which breaks the finish. There is also a factory paint blem that I have never minded as its on the arm contour and not very noticeable anyway....also visible in the pix.
The nut has been professionally replaced with a custom cut corian nut. I have had this bass maintained at least 3 times a year by a very reputable pittsburgh luthier (Michael Pellow). The pickguard is pearloid, and I believe came from Lakland and the neck pickup cover was professionally installed.

I am mainly interested in jazz basses, although P/J's are bait too. 4 Strings only, please. I think I would like to trade for an american Fender, although I'm open to other offers of equal or greater value. I prefer classic colours (black, 3TSB, etc). Again, I have up to $450 to add, so run stuff by me.
