FT: MIA Fender JP-90

My Fender JP-90











I got this recently used with the intention of completely restoring it (refinish, new electronics/pickup/tuners/bridge). I put a new fender bridge on and kind of put the project asside.

The Facts:

- Probably needs new tuners as they rattle when played (maybe you can fix them)

- has a new bridge

- was definitely a players bass and shows it. (someone scratched text into the chrome neck plate, sticker residue, lots of scratches, knicks, and chips but nothing horrible)

- truss rod seemed to turn fine when i first bought it. havent touched it since.

- electronics are a little noisy. may need some shielding.

- brand new strings

- played great the few times i picked it up

- very comfortable neck profile

- besides a little noise pickups sound great

This could be an amazing bass if you put a little TLC into it!!!

I have an Ibanez SR800, a Squier VM/Affinity Jazz, US Big Muff, Digitech Bass Driver and a Digitech Reverb that I'd be willing to trade for this... perhaps one bass and one or two pedals?

Thanks for the offer but honestly not looking to trade down that far as it is still an MIA fender! To be more specific about trade basses, i'd be most interested in P style basses or 5-6 string basses but shoot all others by me! Also, stickers should come right off with some goo gone type product. I didn't bother removing them as I was planning to take the whole finish off. Trades + cash either way are welcome as well.
