Just got this a few weeks ago from Swpyne. Looks great and plays great but I'm looking for something else... I'll probably regret this.
I think it was Made in 1982. Body is Alder with a walnut color stain. Made in Japan.
It is in AMAZING condition given it's age. Has flats on it and is set up very, very low. Neck is as strait as an arrow and truss rod works. Has a reverse P- pickup (this is the original pick up) and a high mass bridge (has a some cool engraving on it). Neck feels like a P but I haven't done any measuring on it. comes with original case.
Flaws:
- belt rash on the back
- tiny scratch on the back of the neck that you can feel with your thumb. It is directly behind the 3rd fret. Doesn't really bother me when playing but wanted to disclose everything.
Other then that the bass is in great condition (as you can see).
What I'm looking for:
34" scale, 4 or 5 strings. P or J Fender style (doesn't have to be a Fender through).
