This is like cutting off my right arm. Bought this new about a year ago. It is the most beautiful bass I have ever owned, plays exquisitely, weighs nothing (<8 lbs) sounds wonderful (the B is the best I have played on a 34-inch bass)--BUT IT GETS NO USE (NEVER GIGGED) BECAUSE I HAVE FINALLY ADMITTED I AM NOT A FIVE STRING PLAYER.
Happily, I am not suffering financially and I will be happy to keep it if something equally wonderful of a fretted four string nature doesn't come along.
Comes with a Hanewinckel soft/hard case.
I am looking for non-reliced high end four-string basses, 9 lbs. tops. I have a particular yen for a Kinal, but am open to all suggestions. |

I bought my Hane 4-string used on TB which caused me to by the new 5-banger. Later, I saw Pete Hanewinckel referred to on TB as "The Celinder of North America"...and in my view that is no exaggeration. The quality of what the man does is phenomenal.
Anyway, I am starting to oversell.
Should anyone be interested in world-class, drop dead gorgeous five string that you don't need Godzilla hands to play, drop me a trade offer! |
