I have a Modulus Q5 up for trade. I recently obtained this bass here, and dig it quite a bit, but it's just a bit "snappy" for me. I'd like something a little less "moduluslike".
It has an ash body, a figured chechen top, the modulus carbon fiber neck, and a chechen board.
The bass has Bartolini pickups and the controls are volume, blend, mid, and a stacked bass/treble.
The bass has a bit of player wear, but is in really good condition. I don't have an accurate scale, but I'd guess the weight at 9 to 9.5 lbs.
In trade, I'm looking for another 5 string of about equal value.
If you have something really special, I may be able to throw in a Fender "franken" P bass...with a USA Fender rosewood board, seafoam body, Seymour Duncan Antiquity P and J pickups, and an East U Retro preamp.
The Modulus comes with an unbranded hardcase that has a few bumps and bruises, but it is fully functional and protects the bass just fine.
I'm not looking for a 4 string. Trade offers must be a 5, and I may consider a 6. I don't have anything really specific in mind, but something along the lines of a Lakland, a Metro, Lull, etc., would be good. Trades MUST be under 10 lbs, and hopefully well under.
