For trade only is my awesome MTD 535 that I just purchased in January of 2008. This baby is dead mint. Here are the specs:
* ASH BODY
* ASH NECK
* MAPLE BOARD - 21 FRETS
* WALNUT BURL TOP
I love this bass but I find myself reaching for more frets than I do more slap room, so this is up on the block. I am going to be pretty picky about what trades I accept as this bass is both visually and sonically stunning. This is one of my two favorite MTD wood combos out there.
I'm looking for trades only and am not interested in a sale. Here is what I am looking for:
*MTD 535-24 - ash body/ash neck/maple board/walnut top
*MTD 535-24 - ash body/maple neck/RW board/burl top with a nice colored burst.
*Skjold 24 fret - 3 piece neck/ash body/maple or pau ferro board/custom east pre with sweepable mids
Here are the droolworthy pics. A couple of photos are from Gelb Music where I bought it from in January.

This really is a great bass, but I'm just seeing what is out there that might more closely fit the bill for me.

I know my trade requests were specific, but I've tried a LOT of basses these past few years so I know what I will like and what I won't. Hate to be a diva and snub a lot of the offers but this bass is too good to trade for something that I *might* like. That said, keep 'em comin'!
