MTD KZ5 with some very nice modifications. Audere 3 band with mid frequency selector and low, mid and high z selector, Nordstrand Dual Coils with coil taps for single coil, parallel and series setting for each pickup. Hipshot bridge and tuning keys and upgraded knobs. The back of the neck has been sanded as well. Cosmetically it is about 9/10. Has one ding about as wide as my fingernail as shown and couple other minor blems.
All work is professional and is top notch. With the upgrades it plays and sounds great. The nordies and audere do not make it sound like a 535, but it is modern sounding overall with huge amount of adjustment. Audere is about $200 as configured, Nordies $300, bridge, tuners, knobs and work $$. Run trades by me, but I am specifically interested in 2008 and 2009 MIA jazz deluxe basses and bergantino AE112s or HT112ERs. +/- cash either way.

I did very similar mods in my MTD KZ and it's KILLER! Very versatile and smooth.... Modern tone with great sustain! Very quick response and snappy... I have an Aggie OB-3 in mine, but I'm sure the Audere is even more transparent and thick! Great bass!

Some trade offers but nothing that I couldn's resist, yet. I would love to try a 55-01 with nordstrand big singles. Berg cabs are also welcome, although it appears no one is trading those, hmm.
