FT...My Fender Am Deluxe P 5/maple for your Cirrus 5

I have been thinking about trading my 2002 USA Fender American Deluxe Precision 5 string w/maple fingerboard for a Cirrus 5 string. If you have a Peavey USA Cirrus 5 and want to trade, I have decided to trade (or maybe sell) my Fender ADP 5 string basses. This one is a very sexy teal (green-blue) with a maple board. 4+1 headstock with 18v pre-amp (for more headroom). This is a "players" bass, which means it has the normal surface scratches. There were a couple of scratches on the back of the neck that I had professionally fixed by a luthier. That means, you can see some scratches but you absolutely can NOT feel anything. Totally smooth. This is one of the most versatile basses you will ever own! PS..this bass is difficult to photgraph, so please understand that it is teal over ash body.If you would like to do a swap, please let me know.

My bass would ship in Fender molded hard case. Let me know what you have and let's see if there is a good trade out there. My bass has NO issues and low action without no fret rattle or buzz. I have flatwounds on it now (was playing a Motown show) but can put roundwounds on it if you desire.

Thanks for the responses. Ideally, I was hoping for a cashless transaction...much neater. I have gotten some PM's and interest in a straight purchase, so it forced me to come up with a number. I would sell for $1000 and split the shipping costs.

The Fender plays and sounds great, but I have quite a few similar Fenders in my arsenal and no neck through basses that might give me the kind of sound that I have heard from the Cirrus. Gotta have a big tool box with a lot of sounds in it, eh?
