| FT: New Squier Classic Vibe Jazz (Mod'ed)- Looking for Class D Amp This Squier was purchased in December and modified professionally in January. All the electronics have been replaced with new Fender MIA plate, CTS pots, cap and knobs. Pick-ups have been replaced with new Custom Shop Jazz Pickups. Pickups were wired with series/parallel option controlled from push/pull tone pot.
Bass is in like new condition. Olympic white with tort pick guard
Action is low and neck is fast. There's no comparison between the tone of the original Squier and this modified version. As good as (or better) then any MIA Jazz out there tone wise. Super quiet and the series functionality gives you the thumpiness of a P.
The math (what I paid, less tech time):
Squier: $300
Pickups: $150
Electronics: $50
Right now, looking for a decent Class D amp for trade.
Photos will be posted later.
