FS/FT: One Of A Kind Roscoe SKB 6 Brand New!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello folks,

Up for trade is an awesome Roscoe SKB 6 nicked named "water drop" for obvious reasons that I just had custom made. The bass plays and sounds awesome however I realize that the SKB body style just isnt for me therefore, I'm looking for some trade bait. The bass has quite a few upgrades. Here are the stats:

Roscoe SKB 6
Exhibition Grade Quilted Maple Top
Exhibition Grade Quilted Maple Back
Ash Core
34" Scale
19"mm string spacing
Maple/Wenge/Maple Neck
Wenge FB
5 knob configuration
Custom THG Knobs cut from entire body blank. (not installed)
Demeter Pre
Bart Classics.

I paid $4500.00 for this custom bass and I'm looking at either trading or $3,000 firm. Looking for MTD, Brubaker, Pedulla MVP,
and any other high-end bass guitars. The bass must have minimum 18mm -19mm string spacing and it must be in mint condition and since everyones "mint," condition is different let me explain what mine is. No scratches, belt rash, swirl marks, or dings of any kind. Not even a scuff mark. Now if your bass does have a mark on it it doesn't necessarity exclude you. I just want to be informed of every mark. Sorry I'm picky.

Wow Deon, that is a killer bass and price!

I saw this bass when I was at Roscoe picking up my CS Plus. This bass is amazing, the natural coloration of the wood is beautiful. At first I thought it was stained to get the two tone look but it is all natural!!!

it has a little radius in it bit not to much. Personally I've never heard of a "flat" FB. I thought all FB were supposecto have some type of radius in it.

All Roscoe's, including this one, has a 16" radius. I believe that Deon had Roscoe slightly modify the neck profile, which only affected the thickness of the neck (Finger Board to back of neck) and of course the overall width to accommidate the 19mm string spacing.

Awesome bass!
