FT only: EBMM Stingray 4H Black Sparkle

Sign in to disble this ad
Let me just say I love this bass. I've always been a fan of Stingray's, and this one plays and sounds perfectly. I have no problem keeping this one bit, so I'll probably be a bit selective with offers, but I am lusting after a few other basses so I'm willing to put this up and see if I can snag something else.

This is a 2000 Stingray in black sparkle with a maple board and matching headstock and pearloid pickguard (looks slightly aged. Looks great). It has Ernie Ball Super Slinky's currently, and also has new dunlop strap locks. I have the hardshell case for the bass and a polishing cloth (albeit it used. Still serves its purpose though). There are few dings and markings, and is overall in great condition. The body is in amazing shape for being 10 years old, with only one very small, shallow ding in the back, and is otherwise in great unblemished condition. The neck has a few marks on the back but are hardly noticeable, and there is a mark/dent on the headstock/neck joint from what I presume was a stand which supports from the headstock.

Trades I'm looking for:
Warwick Streamer (Will consider any streamers other than Streamer Standard and Rockbass models)
Warwick Thumb
Spector Euro (no Rebops)
Musicman Bongo 4 or 5
Musicman Stingray or Sterling 5-strings

Other versions will certainly be considered, with the exception of a streamer standard (the old slab body passive pickup model) and rockbass streamers. I am not interested in those.

How about a Traben Chaos core with HH config. This thing rips but I have another Lakaland on the way.

No thanks. The only basses I have any interest in for trades is a Stingray 5 or particular Streamers.

No thanks, not really looking for Corvettes at the moment as I already have one. Just Streamers and Thumbs.

Very tempting, but unfortunately I'm not a fretless player.

Debating whether I should pull this or not, it just sounds so good! buuuut I suffer constant GAS for a nice Warwick, so I'll keep it up a bit longer...

I just thought I'd give it a shot. I figured it would be an easy trade as I go to the Poconos fairly often since I have family in the area. Good luck!

After doing a fresh setup and playing this last night/this morning, I came to my senses and realized it's too great and I don't want to give this up . Off the market. Thanks for all the offers everyone!
