FT only: mtd zx for Sadowsky metro m5-24

I'm a traditional tone type of guy looking for a modern sounding secondary bass. I just got this ZX for another TBer and I think it was a step too far for my style. I hear the Sadowsky Moderns have the modern sound with a classic feel.

This bass is 99.7% mint, still has the plastic on the control panel! I've used it on 3 gigs and that's it.

hey mo,
ive been trying out some new bass options, but i havent been able to get my hands on a zx. I played the kz and really disliked the clunkyness of the bass, but really liked the feel of the neck.
I know the zx is much nicer, but is it still one of those clunky buzzy type basses?

to be completely honest I was expecting it to be clunky and buzzy, but I was surprised at how I actually had to struggle getting enough highs to make it crunchy! The tone is nice and warm, sort of high-fi but not as much as an American mtd. The trick it how you set the mids in my opinion, it seems to affect the lows and highs at the same time.
