I really would like to try something new, plus I really want to go to 6 strings (but I'll take a look at 5'ers too, and possibly high-end 4's!).
As for a straight sale, I have a right to change my mind on wither I want money or not. Made in 2007 for $2,700 by Marco Cortes. I'd say $1,500 shipped CONUS, complete with HSC and case candy, and transfer of lifetime repair warranty from Marco Cortes. You could snap this bass in half (but please don't!) and Marco would repair it with a smile as long as you'd pay for shipping. He's the coolest guy you'll ever meet.
As anybody who has heard this bass in the studio or live, it's amazing! And trust me, my playing's not great, but this bass makes me sound so much better than I actually am. You can get basically any sound of it, and I go from thumpy R&B gigs, to my jazz ensemble at a local club, to big, phat reggae studio gigs. I can do it all with this Marco.
PM me! Sound demos and more information available upon request.

All the hardware is Hipshot USA. It weighs around 8.9 pounds. I don't know the string spacing off my head, I'd say it's about the same as an MTD 535, too. It's African Ash, with a Wenge fingerboard and matching top wood. |

| | | Trade offer I have a Fender 5 American jazz with a J Retro pre amp installed. It is a 2007 model Cola Red with a maple neck, let me know if interested in a trade. They go for $1400 and the pre amp goes for $295. It is in great shape!
