| ronaldpdbrandt | 01-17-2013 07:41 AM | FT Only: Washburn Force 8 Up for trade only is a 1982 Washburn Force 8 from the Matsumoku factory in Japan. I love this bass, but unfortunately, GAS is creeping in again, so I'm looking to make some room.
The neck is a soft V-shape, 1.625" at the nut, and it is one of the nicest necks I've ever played. It has amazing fret access due to the lack of a neck heel. The Dimarzio-style reverse-P pickups are original to the bass, and they are quite good. Good volume, bright, and punchy.
The bass is in excellent condition with only a few minor dings around the back edges (shown in pics below). Everything is in perfect working order and there is little fret wear. The bass was upgraded sometime in the past with Grover tuners and a Badass II bridge. According to a bathroom scale it weighs in at 8.6 lbs. It will ship in a generic but functional hard-shell case.
Here's the long list of what I want for it:
Peavey T-40
And that's it. No sale offers at this time, please. If I get the cash, I'll just spend it, and I still won't have the thing I'm GASsing for!
