Back up for trade.

Mint condition Cirrus 5 with wenge top over walnut. Absolute sick neck, the best I have ever played. This bass is all top shelf and high end.

Comes in the OHSC. 8.8 lbs on my bathroom scale.

TRADED

i love this bass. Stopped playing my Cirrus 6 string specifically to play on this one. The wedge/walnut combo sounds huge. Big bump for the best of the cirrus line!

Really ? Better than maple ? I love my walnut/bubinga, but my alder/maple is HUGE sounding ! I love the look of wendge, and now I may consider it. Have you tried a maple top ? It's loud !

oh yeah better than maple. In fact, I'm an anti maple bass kind of guy. The low's are lower and the growl is deeper with heavier woods (in my opinion). I've played on all the cirrus options, and the wedge/walnut stands out for me. The babinga/walnut has great tone for slapping and other high mid type tones. But oh dear I love the boom in the wedge/walnut.

Granted, I've since started playing my Fender Jaguar almost exclusively... i think its an ash body with a maple neck which goes straight against my anti maple stance. But I do love my jag, and my cirrus'...
