Made in Houston Texas. Robin Ranger in Translucent Orange. 34" scale. Ash body, maple neck. Active EMG pickups which are original, I was told by the original owner that the EMG's were prototype and not used on subsequent basses. This bass is serial number 001 from 1996. Other Rangers have Rio Grande's. They sound great, and no passive hum/buzz out of the J pickup. 3 way selector switch. Volume/Tone. Includes original Robin Hardshell case with the Robin logo on it. The bass is in overall good condition, a few dings here and there, it has been played and with good reason. My only problem, is the neck at the nut is a P width 1 5/8". It's pretty light as well. Not over 8-9 lbs. I need a smaller width Jazz bass neck for four strings.
More photos available upon request.
You don't see these every day, go ahead, try and find one, lol.
Interests? Throw your offers my way. I am looking for an 8 string bass, something hollow like a Cassidy, maybe even a G&L Tribute 5 string. Other things that come to mind...Gibson Victory, 80's Hamer Cruise bass, Aria John Taylor style. Ibanez Musician. Not real sure, I don't bite, so hit me up.
I am thinking value wise, it is in the $700 range. But, hard to know for sure, as they just don't come up that often.

The reason I ask is it seems like Aria and Vantage (and sometimes Quest) seemed to mirror each other many times. I've been able to find next to no information on my particular bass, so I was hoping I'd found a lead on a kindred. The search continues... seems I've gotten into one that keeps me busy beyond merely playing it.
