FT - ROSCOE SKB3006 w/ optional Roland GK-3B Pup

Hello All!

FOR SALE ALSO $2650.00 shipped!

Looking to sell/trade my Roscoe SKB3006 with optional Roland GK-3B pup for a F Bass BN6.

I say "Optional" on the GK-3B cause I still have use for it but will let it go on the bass for $100.00. The Roland Pup is permanently mounted using the supplied screws and set up perfect. The Control Unit is not permanently mounted, but uses the universal clamp that comes with the Pup. AS we all know with Guitar Synth and Bass, the Synth Pup has to be adjusted to perfection to get it too track as good as possible.

The Roscoe would be considered "Signature" via the options it has but was built prior to that model being named.

Its a truly awesome Roscoe, sounds amazing and plays amazing. Low, low action!

I can post pics with the Roland Pup on it if you like.

Oh, it should be mentioned that the fretboard is Katalox, and quite rare!

Yes it is rare

it has an awsome quality too it. A good cross between ebony and rosewood

I just picked up a GR55, would like to see the GB3B on the Roscoe. Saves me time in buying one. How much for an outright sale?

Would you consider a trade for a Gibson Tobias 6 (Zebrawood, neckthru, Bart pre and pups) from 1996? It also has a GK-3B mounted on it (so it would be an easier trade to fit both our needs), and comes with the original Tobias gig bag. I love this bass, but I also have a Roscoe 5 as a main instrument, so I'm more used to the Roscoe sound.

How is the GK3B pup attached, screwed ot double side tape? Any photos of it?

Hello Vakmere

The Pup is attached using provided screws and springs. I did this so I would have the maximum amount of adjusting of the Pup. The more you can adjust and dial in the pup..the better the tracking is

The tape and spacers sometimes just don't allow enough room for proper adjustment. The GK3b control unit is attached using the supplied "Clamp" and is not screwed or taped to the body. Its adjustable and actually is positioned right over the treble side of the bridge. It does not touch the strings though. Thats the beauty of the clamp. A BIG improvement over the old GK-2b where you either had to tape it or screw it on the body.

I will have pics posted later tonight. Its a really nice set up and the Roscoe is killer, killer with or without the Roland Pup
