FT: Sadowsky Metro RV4

This bass is in great condition, plays like absolute buttah, sounds incredible. Alder body/rosewood board. No issues whatsoever to speak of, besides the small blemish visible in the pics. This is just an awesome bass that I need to replace with a 5'er. Comes with ultralight Sadowsky hard case. Currently strung with brand new high beams, and sounds like a million bucks.

The only trades I'm interested in right now are an F bass BN5 (or 6), a Nordy 5, or a Lakland Hollowbody.

Guys, looks like an FT ad, not an FS ad. If you're willing speak about cash money, it looks like there are some peeps willing to partake. I'd be down myself if I didn't just order a custom j bass much like this one.

Funny you should say that because I did talk about it with my wife... but the idea was killed inside me that moment she asked, "Which one is the BN5 again? Is that the one I got you for our anniversary 5 years or so ago?"

Yeah, that bass is untradeable.

So I thought about my BN6 since it is also on your wish list, but it gets played more than any other bass I have, and I rarely ever play my current 4 stringers, so making that trade seems kinda crazy to me. :-(

So here's hoping your Sadowsky finds a home quickly so I can quick looking at this thread and thinking about what might have been!

Don't tease me Tom your BN5 and BN6 are pretty slammin.. Let me know if you change your mind, but I understand your rationale.

That being said, this is a pretty unbelievable sadowsky. I've never heard a bass sit in a track like velcro laced with glue, quite like this bass.

Funny, I have a Nordy 5, and Lakland HB, and used to have a BN5. All great basses. Had a Metro, too. The Metro would be a nice addition to my setup but I don't want to let go my current basses.

Bump for good luck. I love CAR!

I would offer it up for sale, but there aren't any nice used bn5s floating around for the right price. Still waiting for the sweet trade deal.

In the meantime, holy smokes what a killin bass this is. I've been rocking light gauge ss strings for a while, just switched back to 45-105, and it opened the sound up immensely. this thing is a tone machine
