FT - Sadowsky MS4 w/ Black Sadowsky Hardware

I've been giving some thought to trading this Sadowsky for a 5-string. I'm open to considering just about anything of like quality & equitable value. However, I'm primarily looking for a Zon (with truss rod).

Anyway, basically brand new Sadowsky MS4. I'm the first owner. Purchased new4 months ago. Weighs in at a hair over 8lbs. VTC installed. Comes with the Sadowsky case and all tools. Everything is in perfect condition.

Sadowsky Metros aren't available with black hardware and you can't order it from Sadowsky, so this might be the rarest Metro on the Planet. How did I happen to pull off this miracle? Long story short, I removed the original chrome Sadowsky hardware and sold it. I bought a set of black Hipshot hardware I was going to install, but a buddy of mine with a Sadowsky NYC offered to trade me his black hardware for my new black Hipshot stuff and a few other things I had laying around the studio. So, I went for it and now have the only Sadowsky Metro with legit black Sadowsky NYC hardware I've ever seen.

No worries!

2 different versions out there. Originally I recorded it with a Fender Jag. Re-recorded it with this Sadowsky not long ago. It depends on when and what site you heard it?

The version on the APF Myspace site is this Sadowsky through an Aguilar DB900 DI then direct into the board. Eq'd a bit on the bass and with new Elixir 45-105 rounds. Check that one out if you haven't.

Forgot to mention there was a version floating around that was recorded with an LEJ 4 for a while too.

It's the version that is currently on the Myspace site. Great tone and killer playing on that song! You might want to link that song to your thread here.

i got a question. why do people always do FT? I would think it would be easier to get the specific bass you want if you just sell your bass out right. thanks.

I dunno.

In my mind I feel I will get more in trade value than a flat out sale. But I'm sure that's more than debatable.

Who knows.....

Frankly, I doubt that there is a single bass on here that is listed as "FT" that the respective owner would not just sell if the offer was right.
