FT Skyline DJ5

TRADED

I try and I try, but I just can't seem to love a jazz bass. Maybe there's something wrong with me or perhaps I just prefer the sound of a humbucker in the bridge spot.

Anyhow, I'm looking to trade my black sparkle DJ5 with bound maple board, mother of pearl inlays, and Nordstrand pickups for something a little different. I'd love to get my hands on an H/S Sterling or Stingray but I might also be interested in a 55-02 or a G&L 1505. Heck, if it's a cool fretted 5 then make me an offer; I don't bite. A little bit of cash can go either way as well.

I'm in no particular hurry to move this instrument since my #1 bass works for 99% of what I play, but variety is the spice of life. Actually, spice is the spice of life but variety is nice too.

For the skimmers:

Skyline DJ5
Black Sparkle
Maple/Maple neck w/ graphite reinforcement rods
35" scale
19mm spacing
Nordstrand pickups
Pearloid pickguard
Tweed HSC
Original pups and pg included

Trade interests:

Sterling 5 H/S
Stringray 5 H/S
55-02
G&L 1505
interesting fretted 5's (bridge humbucker strongly preferred)
+/- a little cash as necessary

I think you will be very pleased. And if that bass came with the upgraded pups and a case then you got a heck of a deal.

That is one of the most profound things anyone may ever read here on TB.

Ha Thanks. I knew if I spouted enough nonsense that someone would eventually mistake it for profundity.

All PMs replied.

I'd also be very interested in a Reverend Brad Houser.
