FT Spector Rebop DLX

Sign in to disble this ad
For trade or sale. Open to Lakland Skyline or Fender trades. Prefer active setups, but would entertain Geddy sig, Duff sig models. those are looking like something I would like to have in the stable.

This Rebop is stock, Tone pump, EMG HZ's, 35" Scale and probably the tightest B string I have played in recent years. Nice solid thump, and that classic Spector tone.

Looking for equal value in a trade, or a cash sale of $500. This is a czech model not a Legend. I would trade for something with a sale value around $650-$750. Shoot me any offers, worst I can do is say no.

Players basses welcomed as this one is not perfect. This beast was played by someone with belt buckle issues, just look at this pics and you will see what I mean.

Approx 8 lbs. Light and comfortable.

Includes new Spector gig bag.

I just bought the exact same one for $500 in Marin last week ! I think it's a very fair price and an absolutely gorgeous design.

It includes a nearly new Spector Gig Bag. The one with the cool Gold Spector Logo and name embroidered.

Get it while you can. $500 includes shipping to CONUS

So you have two Talkbass accounts?

OP: Any interest in a Euro 4LX? It's in rough shape too but still playable and sounds great!

Man, that Euro took a beating. Thanks for the offer, but I have to pass.

Yeah to say the least. LOL It's a testament to Spector's construction though to have gone through whatever torment it was subjected to and came out still playable and sounding like a Spector!

Two things though: a) this is just a Rebop 5 - the DLX's have figured maple tops, and b) I bought a Rebop 5-DLX for $500 in excellent condition last summer (and have been kicking myself for getting rid of it) but it seems like the market has gone down for these unless they've been modded with pickups and preamp.

Are you sure it has the Tonepump? Some earlier Rebops had an Aguilar OBP-1. Also, does it come with a case?

This was identified to me by other Spector afficianado's here on TB. It was agreed as a Rebop DLX Deluxe with 2 Volume Knobs. The stock TonePump or Dump however you look at it.

This one was made between 2004-2006.

The Figured Maple Top that you have eluded to is a Rebop DLX FM.

I have considerably more in this than what I am asking. I bought it as an impulse, and because I had GAS for a Spector but could never afford one till now.

I liked the sound of it, walked out with it. Now I have 2 Stingrays and the Spector sits idle. It's a player and sounds like a Spector should.

Included is the soft like new Spector gig bag. The one with Gold letters.
