If you have the desire to play a fretless 6 string, this will get you there and beyond, this being my first single cut i was a bit apprehensive, but it balances and plays better than a "normal" bass, and the scale makes it very comfortable to play standing. I play in a military band, and at the end of the day im reading 90% of what i have to play, so my 5 string fretted gets the job done...any other way i would bring this beautiful beast out, but then again its too nice to be touring with (much less have a bunch of "army" folk around it

)
Looking for 5 strings of comparable build, tight spacing a plus, i regularly play on a modulus Flea 5 at work so that would give you an idea.
Ive also been gassing for a really nice 4 string...dont tell anyone though
If you would like more pics i will gladly oblige, this bass is very photogenic.
Ive also gotten this question alot, done the research, refretting this would cost around $250, considering the fingerboard material and the fact that the slots are already cut, so its not a bad idea if thats whats stopping you from grabbing it.
