FS/FT: Sterling by Musicman Ray34 in Honeyburst
Hi, this is now up for sale/trade, I would prefer local either way (Washington DC area within an hour or so) but will work with you if you're not. As an edit: I will also sell and work with you on the price.
Up for Sale/trade is my SBMM Ray34 in a beautiful Honeyburst finish and matching headstock I purchased new in 2012. The grain is really nice and matches well. It can come with it's original gig bag (however the bag has a tear along side the zipper that doesn't affect the zipper from closing). It weighs in around 9.5 lbs on my bathroom scale. The only thing that makes this bass doesn't seem like new is the treble tone knob is knocked a little loose. The knob still works totally fine and someone with even basic knowledge on how to fix it would be able to.
If looking to trade, I am open to a Fender Precision, Jazz, or PJ. Preference will be for a Black/Black and Maple Precision or Olympic White/Black Guard and Maple Precision bass.
This bass plays great and sounds powerful.
Thank you for your time, and now of course here are some pics. The knob issue is really hard to photograph because the issue is really subtle and only noticed if you touch it.
I will put this for sale around $500 but am more than happy to work with you on the price.
Putting this bass up for sale as well, I would like the funds to pay for a pending local sale if no trade opens up. I need to keep only a few basses in my possession so this one has to go. This beautiful Ray34 sounds great, plays smooth, and is in good condition.
