EDIT: still considering trades but now mainly FOR SALE!
Recently acquired this on a trade with another TB'er. I intended to use this bass as a backup, but have determined I'm looking for something with a little more finesse, as my more "aggressive" needs are already covered by other basses, and this bass... like it's USA counterpart.... is VERY aggressive.
I've always preferred the Ceramic-loaded Musicmans (the Sterling, the Stingray 5 etc) both for their increased upper midrange bite and the flexibility offered by the 3-position switch.
This is my first experience with the import line, and I'm extremely impressed. In any setting, I can say I would not pass a blind taste test between this bass and my Ernie Ball Sterling Stealth HS... the most brutal sounding bass I have ever experienced. The body is light and the neck is excellent. Fretwork is also impressive for an import, but you can read up on that in any of the various threads about these awesome units elsewhere on TB. Bass is in practically new condition. Will ship with a brand new USA Fender Padded Gigbag.
