Up for trade is B015498, a rare 100th Anniversary NAMM StingRay, born on the 31st of January in 2001.
This is a very rare model made by Ernie Ball to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of NAMM in 2001. Only 100 instruments were build, of which 49 were sold in the US, 49 overseas, 1 was donated to NAMM and 1 stayed at EBMM headquarters.
This StingRay unique features are Inca Silver body colour, a graphite neck custom build by Status with the 100th NAMM medal inlay on the headstock and a countersunk trussrod wheel, and an original pre Ernie Ball string through body bridge with mutes and the old B0XX serial number stamped onto the bridge.
I bought this bass from a vintage guitar collector, who had in in storage and never played it. Therefore the instrument is in absolute mint like new condition. I've only played this bass in my smoke free living room and it has never been gigged. Weight is 4.48 kg (9.87lbs)
Compared to my other 'Rays, this one has a very clear and defined sound with a great piano like sustain.
