I purchased this from a local talkbass brother not all that long ago. It's a great bass and even better now that it is shielded and dead quiet (picture blow). I would love to keep it, but I prefer the feel of a Jazz neck..
So, I'm looking for a 34" scale (1 exception, Peavey Cirrus), 4 string, fretted bass with a neck profile like a Jazz... Active or passive would be ok, P/J pickups are high on the list of wants. No pointy basses, std. body shapes. I can't afford to add too much $$ to the trade, but will also consider a bass of slightly less value and some cash my way. Not looking for Squire/MIM Fenders (already have a couple). I might be tempted by an Eden/Aguilar amp and single 12", 2x12 or 2X10
+++Another Trade option. A Canon EOS 7D DSLR (body) +++
I place an approximate value of my bass @ $1200. Includes a TSA case as well. We can work out the difference in price/value.
A few options would be..
G&L BABP L1000
G&L SB-2
G&L L2000
Fender Deluxe US Jazz
Fender US Jazz
Sterling HS or HH
Peavey Cirrus
Spector Euro LX
others?
Thanks, Ken.

| | Supporting Member | | Join Date: Nov 2009 Location: San Antonio, TX | | How about a not typically available mid-line Spector with a set-neck in great shape and/or something really different? An Epi Ripper Limited in Black/Black PG in mint shape? Details in sig.
Depending on what you want/your situation, I'd be happy giving you both basses plus cash (amount TBD) in trade. I'm open to suggestions.
Honestly, looking for a nice US P, not cash. |

It took a while to get done, even attached a strip of copper braid grounding out the poles on the pickups as well as a ground wire from pot to pot and ground. It made a huge difference. The battery cavity is shielded too, but I ran out of copper and used aluminum, works just as well and looks nice too.
Note: No heat was used while grounding the pickup poles, the copper braid is held against the poles with tape and the pressure from the foam rubber strip under the pickup.
Talk to you later this evening.
