Exclamation FT: USA (vintage) G&L Precision P Bass: G&L LB-100

Vintage G&L LB-100. This is a true evolution of a Precision bass. Leo Fender's later version of a P, but with the G&L refinements suck as the high mass, locking saddle bridge, aluminum tuners that are tapered to force the string coils to the bottom of the post, flat sawn neck, etc. How many of these have you seen before? It's a first for me. Lovin the "Sienna Burst" finish. She's very light, has growly P tone. Not quite as aggressive as an SB-1 (a little warmer) thanks to the factory Alinico 5 pickup. Still, she has plenty of high-end sheen and grind and really warms up when the tone is knocked back. A true "P" in terms of tone (vs the more aggressive SB-1 and SB-2).

Action is low and neck is wide (1.75"), but thin front to back. She only weighs 8.5 - 9 lbs (according to my shoulder). Build quality is AMAZING. Super tight neck pocket, etc!

Mainly looking for 5 string basses, but feel free to run any basses past me. No amps or cabs please as I'm all set there!

There are some scratches in the finish of the body and some dings. The bottom strap button was relocated by the previous owner to just below the factory hole. No issues. Plays and sounds wonderful. These are pretty rare! Depending on the bass you are trading, I can kick in a hardshell case. Let me know what you have!
