I've been looking for a new 6 string as well.
No funds right now though...........

1.) Good balance - no neck dive, balances fairly straight for me - I wear my basses high on a wide padded strap and the weight isn't an issue
2.) Its been played - some small nicks and dents mostly on the sides and bottom from leaning it on things, putting it in a stand etc - because its a natural wood finish - they don't stand out like they would on a glossy poly finish. They don't bother me at all.
3.) Trades - I would probably trade for a lightweight head or a 2x10 or 1x15 8 ohm lightweight cab.
Maybe a 5 or 6 35" scale MTD Kingston series
Maybe a P-bass - MIA only on that one.
Or something out there - worst I can say is no! |

The new hole is right next to the old one and is rock solid (bubinga is super hard wood) and you can't see it once a strap button is installed - but thought I would mention it. So - not visibile cosmetically, and not an issue structurally. But some of us out there are pretty anal - so full disclosure! |
