I'm looking to trade this recently acquired wonderful instrument because I can't really play it
I traded for it because I thought it was gorgeous, and it is (and plays so easily it's silly) but I simply can't play a fretless in tune. I guess I don't have that bone or something
I'l like to get a Sadowsky Metro P/J or something similar, 4 or 5 string but preferabaly a 5. I would also be interested in 6 string Smith or an Elrick or anything else cool and a bit out of the norm. I'm working on getting a Jazz like object right now, so I don't need another of those. I'd rather have a P/J setup or something other than the 2 sinle pickup Jazz bass setup. A singlecut anything could get my attention
The Warwick has an East Preamp which replaced the original Duncan preamp. There is a little scratching on the fretboard under the strings from a past set of roundwounds, but no gouges or anything like that. It plays and sounds superb. As has been noted in other recent threads, these run about $5400 new, and it certainly plays like a very high end instrument. It is currently strung with TI flats.
