FT: Warwick and Spector for your bass

Sign in to disble this ad
While I love both of these basses, I've got major GAS for a few other brands (listed below), so I'm putting both up in a package deal for one of your basses. For trade are:

2009 Warwick Corvette Standard 5. Ash body, natural finish, ovangkol neck, wenge fretboard. New neck profile (thinner than "baseball bat" profile of years prior), passive J/J pickups with volume/blend/tone controls. Comes with Rockbag gig bag and a partly used can of wax (more than enough left to be used). Recently restrung with Warwick Black Label medium gauge strings. In very good condition, a few minor bumps and dings. Details can be found here FS: 2009 Warwick Corvette Standard 5 Ash Natural

Spector Rebop 5 DLX FM. Alder body, flame maple top (which is actually the top half of the body), natural finish, maple neck, rosewood fretboard. EMG-HZ pickups and TonePump pre (two volumes, treble, bass controls). Has straplocks installed by previous owner and hipshot ultralites installed by me (will include original tuners as well). Full disclosure- the B and E string ultralites have some scratches/paint wear due to my stupidity and not using a deep well socket during install. Fully functional, just cosmetic. Comes with Spector hardshell case. Top of body is in great shape, just a few dings here and there. The back has some pretty heavy buckle rash, however. Got this in a trade from a fellow TB member and it came that way. Here's the original thread which shows some good pictures 5 string Sprector Rebop Deluxe Flame Maple Top

Both basses weigh in at 7.6 pounds according to my bathroom scale. Very light, a joy to play! I believe both have the same string spacing (16.5mm), though the Spector may be slightly wider.

What I'm looking for:

Musicman Stingray 4 or 5
Musicman Sterling 4 or 5
Lakland 55-02
G&L L-2500 (US only)
American Fenders
Spector Euro 4 or 5
Warwick Thumb 4 or 5
(very long shot) Warwick Streamer (not rockbass)

Potentially a few others, but in the same vein as these. I am being a little picky. As I said, I do love these basses, so I'm not in any rush to get rid of them. There is also a wide variety of MM finishes, some I love and some I don't like, so I will likely be picky with that. However, with that stipulation stated, I welcome all other offers. Never know what might catch my interest!

Please, no mim/j fenders, ibanez, schecter
