SOLD back to the previous owner. This is a great little bass. It has 17mm spacing and although its close I just dont see adapting in the long run. I did buy it to take overseas in Oct so really not in a rush but I just want to see if I can work something out. I'm really after a Sadowsky metro 5, but will consider 34" jazz 5ers. Ash body, burled redwood top, custom Seymour Duncan soapbar pickups and a Bartolini preamp (3 band eq with selectable midrange). Really nice shape, a few very minor marks but nothing serious.

This bass is sold back to the original owner.

I would like to say that 1600 is NOT the market value for this bass (to the guy who would've done the Nordy trade, that difference was fair).

Anyone who tries to use the previous owner's 'fire sale' ad as a negotiating point is not taking into the consideration how much demand was in this bass when I bought it (within the hour it was posted) or in this ad.

Just wanted to say that, I've corrected the market several times on TB, and would've done so again if I had not sold it back to Zooberwerx.

...and I appreciate every consideration and accommodation that has been offered over the past 4 weeks as I transitioned from one job to another. The sell-off of many prized pieces has been difficult at best but the welfare of my family and household will always take priority. Your words of encouragement (prayers, in some cases) were heard by a higher power as I started my new career today. I'm truly grateful.

Sorry for the hijack but I wanted to give lamarjones a public "thank you" for going the extra mile.

Riis
