Fully Loaded 2010 Stingray HH in Vintage Sunburst **Price Reduced**

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a fully loaded 2010 Stingray HH in Vintage Sunburst W/ Maple Board/ Black PG/String Through body/ 2 pre amps (Stock MM Pre and Aftermarket John East BTB MMSR Preamp (which is currently installed), both stock tuner and hipshot D-tuner. It comes with the Stingray Case and all case candy still in the original package.

This bass is in excellent condition and has all the extra goodies with it. Sorry guys this one is for sale only, not trades.

Ok one last Price Drop to $1,250 shipped (lower 48 only) which is way less than I have into it. Less than the price of a new one and you get all the upgrades for free.

The reason I'm selling is I just don't need it, I have it's twin with a Rosewood board and our band just isn't gigging enough for me to justify keeping both.

Thanks for looking,

Jay

Beauty of a bass. Can you tell us a little more about the aftermarket pre-amp and what it does that's different than the stock one? Thx.

For me it's alot smoother sounding and I love having the mid sweep.

Here's the spec's on it.

The BTB-MMSR 4 Knob, including Mid Sweep, has been designed with characteristics very similar to the original MM Stingray© 2 Band EQ, but is not a copy of the original circuit. The original used a single op-amp chip (single amplifier stage in the form of a chip) for both bass and treble circuits, whereas this unit utilises a more modern dual op-amp chip (two amplifiers stages in a chip). The bass and treble are stacked which allows inclusion of a mid sweep, along with original MM style bass and treble, on a 4 knob plate. When the mid boost/cut is centred, its effect is neutral and the EQ is purely late 70s MM style.

This unit is supplied fully wired, including 3 single pots, 1 stacked pot, knobs, jack and battery clip, which may be spliced into an existing battery box, as would be available, in most cases.

· Single Knob - VOLUME

· Single Knob - Late 70s MM style TREBLE

· Single Knob - Late 70s MM style BASS

· Stack Knob - MID / MID FREQUENCY SWEEP (Mid Sweep 01)

POWER REQUIREMENTS: 9-18V, 2.5mA

For any other bassist/Scuba Divers out there... I would possilibly be open to partial trade for a nice Dive computer prefer console type, a Zeagle Ranger BCD and possibly other dive gear. Let me know what you have and possibly we can work somthing out.

Thanks bro, I wish you could buy it also. If I could only have one bass one of these HH Rays with the John East pre is it! That's why I had a pair of them. It's the most versitile bass I've ever played with the 5 way selctor swithc and the versitility of the Joh East pre, you can get pretty much any sound or tone you're looking for!

PM Sent, other PM's answered. I would possibly consider selling the MM Pre on it's own. I'm open to best cash offers on everything.
