G&L (GandL) L2500 Tribute, Sunburst, Ash Body

G&L (GandL) L2500 Tribute, Sunburst, Ash Body

Since I've been playing mostly fretless these days, I have to thin the herd. I am the only owner of this lovely bass (purchased from BassNW). It is used but not abused. There is only mild buckle rash to the back and as far as I can tell, only one nick that I couldn't pick up on camera (very small, you would really have to search for it). It has been properly cared for, so the neck is nice and there are no sharp fret ends.

Vital Stats:
G&L L2500 Tribute (5 strings)
Ash body
Korean Made
Maple Neck
Maple Fretboard
I will guess that the weight is in the 10lb range.

Pictures (first is with flash, rest are without):

The bass is currently strung with DR Lo-Riders (I don't remember if they are stainless or nickel). Since I haven't been using this bass as much as it deserves, the strings are a little pass their primes. I'll toss in a pack of Dunlop Mediums (Nickel).

Bass come with a G&L Hardshell Case. I am in NYC. If you would like to meet up to purchase, I'll give you the option of taking a G&L padded gigbag instead of the case. (I don't feel comfortable shipping it without the case.)

This darling can be yours for $500 shipped. Money order or cheque are preferred. Of course, if you are local, I can cut you a break since no shipping would be involved.

Please, no trades. As I said, I need to thin the herd.

Feel free to contact me with any questions. Thanks for reading.

If you are interested in this bass, but would prefer a rosewood fretboard, I have one I'd be willing to trade and pay for all shipping. I am not affiliated with the seller, but have his permission to mention this (as well as the mods). If you like the bass as is, and it is a beauty, by all means buy it and enjoy it! My hope is that this would help the seller sell the bass by offering an additional option. I have been looking for a maple/maple neck for my black L2500 as I'm not a fan of rosewood fretboards with black basses. My neck looks almost identical, but with a rosewood fretboard. It is in excellent condition! Again, I am not affiliated with the seller and he is not endorsing my neck, he was just kind enough to allow me to post this. If someone wants to trade necks it would strictly be a separate transaction after you buy the bass. Pics available on request.

Thank you!
