Up for sale only are 2 beautiful basses. I love both of them but after practicing with them for a while I have discovered that they are just a little too heavy for me. I am returning to my cover band this weekend after a 6 month leave of absence to battle cancer. Fortunately for me I am in remission and my outlook is good.

But alas my days of playing 9 1/2 to 10 pound basses are over. I need to take it easy on myself from now on so I have bought all new light weight equipment and all my basses now have to be under 9 lbs.
I have chance to buy a used Sadowsky Will Lee from a local TB'er that is the nice light jazz bass that I need as a back up to my Lakland 55 94. So these two basses listed have to go to help pay for it.
First up is a totally custom G&L Jazz bass. I bought this new from Jim at Atlanta Bass Gallery a couple of months ago. He told me that the G&L company told him that this is the one and only G&L Jazz bass that will ever be made without a pickguard. It also has an incredible amount of nice options on it. Here they are:
Silver Flake finish with matching headstock
Birdseye maple fingerboard
Quarter sawn neck that's nice and stable
Vintage frets. The action on this bass is so low.
Stainless steel fret wire
Gloss neck with vintage tint
Crome Bell Cover for the neck pickup(not mounted)
OHSC with all paperwork
I have a hipshot d-tuner installed on it that comes with the bass
This jazz bass sounds amazing. From funk to fingerstyle it covers it all. It balances nice and weighs 9.5 pounds.
This bass cost me well over $2,000.00 new.
$1,550.00 shipped in the CONUS. Price is FIRM!
No trades
The second bass for sale is a 2011 Musicman Stingray Classic 5. Here are it's specs:
Black with birdseye maple neck and fingerboard.
String through the body
Volume, Bass and Treble controls
10 pounds
34" scale
17 mm spacing
Strung with DR Low Riders 130-45
OHSC with all the case candy
This is one of the nicest Stingray Classic 5's I have owned. It has nice low action. Very even across the board on the pickup output. No weak D and G string on this one. I got this from AMS and it came right from the factory. It was never opened until I opened it. Black ones are getting hard to find.
SOLD!
No international shipping on either bass.
Payment can be made via Paypal or U.S. Postal Money Order Only.
I do reserve the right to pull this ad and change my mind about either bass if the purchuse of the Will Lee falls through.
Thanks for checking them out. I will post a link with more pictures of the basses later today.
