VERY NICE! Looks like an 81 with slot poles and all chrome hardware plus short fur case (80 & early 81). Excellent combo HOG/RW. If I didn't have 2 L2Kes this one would be heading my way. Seriously nice bass in fine condtion from what I can see from here.

Hog 'n Slots ALERT!

This looks more 81 than 82...- slots, chrome everythmg, red velour interior'd case...all a BIG plus.

Wonder which E series pre-amp this one has?
Generation 1- where the bridge pup is not affected by the treble control when solo'd , or-
Generation 2- where the treble control does work when the bridge pup is solo'd.

Both sound killer, but a good thing to know...a potential buyer might raise an issue.

The G&Leek-squad has your back, B!

I KNOW the rest of the gang wil be along shortly....
Sonny? Fats? wacko? You out there?

Those early L2K hogs are something special. I owned this one's sister finished in white (also a B004), maybe the same wood run. It had the most amazing low end of any bass I've owned... literally. Somebody snag this!

I had this exact model/year/finish back in the day. I bought it new from 48st Sam Ash NYC. Managed to find an old pic at "Trax" in NYC looking forward to reuniting ...
