G&L L-2000 Tribute w/ onboard bart preamp-$425

Sign in to disble this ad
You guys have seen enough of these to know what the deal is. An all around amazingly solid bass on its own, with the bartolini onboard preamp, it sings something mighty. The tones able to be dialed in are simply endless and the additonal switch was added flawlessly. I do not have the original tritone electronics, unfortunately. This is the bass that got me into playing seriously, and as such, was giged fairly frequently, surviving with only minor dings. Comes with the standard G&L gigbag. Asking $425 shipped. PM or IM (momentinataxia) for questions. I'd like paypal, but a money order will work too.

PS- i know my post count is low, but the posts i do have were for buying off these forums, worry not! Offer up trades, though im not looking for another bass...also, price reduced 15 min after posting-I'd rather it sell than be stingy.

Sweet bass, if it was a maple board I'd be on it quick!

Curious, do you know if they offer any of the Trib models with maple boards??

At any rate, good luck on the sale...it's a nice one!

I have an L2000 Tribute with a maple board. I wish I had gotten rosewood.

Is this still available? Several PM's have been sent.

Has anyone heard from this user?

I honestly didnt mean to ignore anyones suggestions, but i figured after the initial lack of intrest this was a lost cause...Guess not! Its weight is around 8-9 lbs, the fretwork is another one of the near interchangable aspects found in USA vs. tribby G&Ls-nice on all accounts. I could probably do the first person to offer 400, shipping included...but i wonder how much intrest is left.

Again, sorry!

does the tribute come with a factory bartolini preamp, or did you install that?

if you installed it, is it possible to revert it back (ie do you still have any parts that were removed)
