The Bee has a 1.5" nut with 19mm string spacing. Body is curly white limba with a blue/green burst finish. Neck is maple with a rosewood board, 28 frets. Bee 18V 3-band preamp with Delano TheXtender quad coil pickup, switch is for series/single-coil/parallel modes, pull volume knob for passive mode. Comes with whatever random gig bag I find to pack it up with. Weight is under 7 pounds.
The G&L has a swamp ash body with a nice quartersawn flamed maple neck and rosewood board. Neck type is #8 which means 1.5" nut and 12" radius. Comes with the certificate factory G&G hardcase. One of my drummers will be sad to see this go. Weight is just over 9 pounds.
Both basses are about 18 months old, I'm the original owner of each. Standard playing wear, nothing major whatsoever. Bee has the stock strings (nearly dead), G&L has a new set of Sunbeams. SOLD $1,250 shipped for the Bee. SOLD $850 shipped for the G&L. NO TRADES.
Basses are located in Yucaipa, CA and I ship USPS. International is fine, send me a postal code for a price quote.

For what it's worth, the G&L was a special order bass as well. Slightly less custom than the Bee. |

I can throw in some free porno magazines as an incentive. |

Thanks. | Quartersawn flamed maple #8 style neck with no face dots. Not exactly custom, but it was special ordered with these options. Oh, and the trans red finish, I spec'd that as well. |

The Bee looks interesting - *real* interesting. But I have no idea what such a thing would sound like. Can you give any sort of a description?

/rick | I found a couple of Fox rags whilst cleaning out the garage the other day, I'll include one per bass if anybody wants them.
As for the Bee's sound, I generally describe it as a Music Man that went to finishing school. It's not less aggressive, but it is more refined. In series mode the bass is a friggin' freight train through a mix. Oh look! A craptastic soundclip: http://www.boogeresque.com/BeeWank.mp3
The first chunk is parallel, second is series, third is single coil. Recorded direct, and I'm pretty sure the EQ is set flat. |

These particular pictures are a bit old, there has been a little player wear since these were taken, but nothing I can really photograph (initial picture in this thread is current). |
