The WAY cool mod: Middle 3 way switch wired like this-
facing rear= both inner coils on pick-ups
middle= classic G&L parallel
forward= two outer coils (VERY PJ like in passive mode)
Combined with the pick-up selector, you can choose any coil of the four by itself, and with the active/passive/active w/treb boost. you get a ton of tones.
I have a "half" clear guard I made myself, it's on with double sided tape (like Sadowsky uses). I'll leave it on, you can take it off if you would like.
Plays like a million bucks! But will cost you much less!!!
