G&L L2000 Emerald Metallic Green/RW + OHSC

SOLD $625 shipped US. WIll entertian trade offers, especially ASATs.

Great sounding bass! Does everything an L2000 should. Tame and submissive or aggresive and growly; passive or active; precisionish to jazzish and even stingrayish.

Knobs are vol/trb cut/bass cut; switches are pup select/series- parallel/passive, active, treb boost.

It's really in near mint condition. Two things of note - the neck is not the original neck to this particular G&L as the original neck was bad. However, the replacement neck is perfect and the truss responds beautifully. Second, there is a second pin-head size hole plug on the headstock near the top of the headstock close to the "G" string tuner. Does not detract in any way from the bass's appearance. This is a good 'un. Includes OHSC and TLC packing. Will include the brand new set of TI Flats I just put on, too.

Wait, I thought the L-series came in several neck widths? Or is that just the L-2500?

I think the standard is the 1 3/4" with the others being an option.

Sweet bass too with a good price. Kinda wish I could pick it up.

How's the action? Is the neck closer to a Jazz or Precision?

It's sort in between, but closer to a P neck. The action is medium low. Will need a truss adjustment if you want to go lower. Wonderful to play.
