G&L L2000 Tribute Black w Maple Neck FT/FS

Sign in to disble this ad
This is a great bass I picked up a while ago. I've come to the realize that I'm just not an active (bass) guy. This bass has the 1.75" nut that is standard on the Tribute series. Bass had a recent setup and I had my luthier replace the stock nut with bone. If you're looking at this ad you're probably aware of the versatility in these basses and how well they are built. This thing has almost endless tonal possibilities but as I've mentioned I'm more of a passive guy and this great bass is getting no love when it definitely deserves to be played.

Here's the url to the sale thread that I acquired this bass from and includes detailed pics. G&L L2000 Tribute Black with Maple Neck FS. Pics below are also from previous owner.

Currently I'm looking for trades. Really interested in amplification (heads, cabs). Also would be willing to trade for a G&L SB2 (Tribute of course) or a decent passive P bass but will consider all trade offers. Willing to add cash for right trade. Thanks for looking.

Are you intrested in custom Moses (graphite) neck with Norstrand big singles, with an Audere Jazz pre-amp and all Schaller hardware?

Granted its active (but its that mellow pre-amp) they call the Audere the preamp for passive guys (I always use it flat %95 of the time myself).

If you are I get pics.

BTW: Mine was just set up as well.

How about a Ashdown Superfly? (The 250wt per channel one.) This just a feeler, I'm not sure I want to part with it.

From what I understand these are non bridgeable and I currently only have 8ohm cabs, otherwise we could have negotiated, sounds like an awesome amp. Thanks for looking

In fact I'm only leaving this up for another week. If it doesn't move I'm keeping it. It's a really awesome bass.
