G&L L2500 "Custom Build" East Indian Walnut

2012 G&L L2500 "Custom Build", purchased new in early 2012. Body is what appears to be a single slab of East Indian Walnut (aka Monkey Pod), rosewood board, black hardware, standard L-series electronics. Very resonant, and plays great. Weight about 9 lbs. No visible blemishes. Comes with deluxe black tolex case.

$1150 shipped in CONUS. Not looking for any trades right now, thanks.

Looks like a well matched 3 piece body. Beautiful bass!

Could be, but I've tried my best to find any consistent seams and haven't been able to...and I'm a woodworker. In the interest of full disclosure, the one-piece statement is mine only and didn't come from G&L or the dealer. It could very well be 2 or 3 piece that's just very well-matched, as you observed.

Great looking bass. I wish I was still looking for a L2500.

Still available! Couple of nice trade offers to consider, but I'd rather sell if possible.

Nice bass! Any tonal differences from the walnut body?

I have owned 3 ash-bodied L2500s but it's been a while, so accept my comments with that in mind. This bass seems quite a bit more resonant and the tone more woody than the ash basses. It also seems much lighter than the weight would suggest.
