Here is a nearly new custom build M2500 purchased in 2012. I'm the first owner. It has a beautiful black burst finish with attractive wood binding to complete it. Body is Swamp Ash. It's easily a 9 out of 10 and could probably pass as new but since I've owned it for a few months let's call it used to be fair. Maybe just some light "swirling" that you get from cleaning the surface. No dents, dings etc. Deluxe Tolex hard shell G&L case is in like-new condition and is made to fit the bass.
The quality is outstanding. G&L sure knows how to do their fit & finish and burst finishes. Love the preamp and 3-band eq on this instrument. Wonderful sound and versatile.
