G&L SB-2 LINED FRETLESS EBONY BOARD SPECIAL ORDER MANY OPTIONS MUST SEE AS NEW W/CASE

Sign in to disble this ad
**** WOWOWOW!!!! MADDDNESS! JUST MADE IT EASIER, LOWERED PRICE TO ONLY $950.00 INCLUDING UPS shipping to the USA. **** Not Alaska or Hawaii at this price however

SAVE $675!!!!

SPECIAL ORDER G&L SB-2 FRETLESS WITH G&L CASE AS BRAND NEW .....USA BUYERS ONLY PLEASE

I Just bought this beautiful G&L SB-2 lined fretless with many special order options! It was special ordered direct from G&L by the original owner, who is a TB member as well.
He went top of the line on everything with this one!
It is fully loaded with nothing but the best.
It is as brand new as the day G&L shipped it out their door.
The TB'er who ordered it never played it, he is a collector.
I bought it as new from him a few weeks ago and maybe have an hour of gentle home play time on her!
This was ordered for $1599.00 from G&L plus shipping.
I am only trying to get the reasonable price I paid for her back.
And pass along the great deal!
This was my first attempt at playing a fretless and owning one.
Honestly I decided fretless is just not my thing and now have a deposit on a Dargie Delight Bongo II and am selling a few things to fund the Dargie.

This bass will come with all G&L paperwork and documentation, and the brand new G&L logo molded hardshell fitted case.
If your looking for a lined fretless that is investment quality in new condition with ebony board, this is the best one out there!
Get it while it is here on TB for sale.
I am holding off on listing it on FEEbay, local classifieds and BABP website for now, offering it to fellow TB'ers here first!

Here is the info. that was in the original thread when I bought it a few weeks ago.

-----------------------------------------------------------
"I have for sale a brand new G&L SB-2 Fretless Bass with many options. It has the #6 Neck (1 1/2" wide, 7 1/2" radius) GOT (Gun Oil Tint) Neck Finish, Matching Headstock, Ebony Lined Fretless Fingerboard, Wood Body Binding, Swamp Ash Body, White Pearl Pickguard, and Clear Blue Finish. I purchased this guitar new and it has never been used, or left my home. All the original paperwork and case candy is included (see photos).............

When I bought this bass it was $1,599.00 with all of the options. I was told it was the last Ebony Lined Fretless that left the G&L facility. They have not offered Lined Fretless with Ebony Fingerboards for a few years now. I believe this was in December of 2006.
Weight of the bass is documented at : 8lbs 14ozs "

-----------------------------------------------------------

Here are a few pics I took of her in my home the day I bought here a few weeks ago. As you can see this is one amazing fretless G&L, truly special order and one of a kind!!

There ya go guys! This is one amazing G&L work of art!

Wow! A snazzy looking bass.....I assume, since it's fretless, it is a US model, not a Tribute. I wanted to consider a G&L fretless when I bought my Lakie 55-01, but they didn't have fretless in the Tribute series.

A great buy for an unusual bass!

Hey good morning and thanks!
Honestly, this is a looker and a half!
And has the G&L build quality and tone to back up the cosmetics!
being it was special ordered from the US G&L factory, I would say there is not another one out there like this one!

For the reduced price on her, it is little more $$$ than a Tribby model. ( If they made tribby fretless )

The ebony board on this gives out to die for tone.
It has brand new semi flats on her and plays like butter.

Someone is going to have one amazing fretless for a $1,000.00 plus shipping.
