High C belongs in a juice box, not on a bass

I believe he took out the rats nest that naturally come in G&L's, rewired it and added some things as well, although not sure what exactly he added, but the wiring job is definitely an upgrade.

the bass has been rewired, the bass pot is an allen bradley precision pot and the other pots and switches are new g&l replacements.

A stock g&l control cavity looks like this :

just going in and removing the excess wire, redressing the leads against the bottom of the cavity and resoldering the bad joints in these basses can go along way towards remedying the "noisy preamp" issues that alot of people complain about. This bass is almost dead silent now with the active/ treble boost engaged.

Thanks for the info! I have 2 L2Ks (non tribs) that are my favorite basses ever, but I haven't bothered opening them. No noise issues for me. Anyway, they're both back home in Oregon while I'm tending to family affairs in Colorado. I'm very tempted by this.
