FT feeler. I reserve the right to close this one. I thought I would never let this one go... For some reason I just have an itch to try something new.

This US L2500 is in as mint condition as you can get for a used bass I think. I bought it brand new and am the original owner. Not a dent on this baby. Maybe just very, very fine surface swirls like all basses get. Other than that, not a scratch. It's been kept in its case and only played out a couple of times.

I've seriously babied this one. Comes with original G&L hard shell case and key and original certificate etc.

If you've ever played a US G&L you know how awesome these things are. The MFD pickups/pre are HOT. Total tone monster here.

Here's what's peaking my interest right now. Must be a 5 string.

- Spector Euro neck thru basses. Don't know what it is but I like em.
- Sadowsky imports
- Fender US Deluxe instruments
- Tobias Growler 5 (with dual switches) +$ on your end. Again, don't know what it is about Growlers but I like em.
- Musicman
- Lakland 55-02 +$ potentially on your end
- Other? Let's see

Sell for $1250 shipped CONUS (OBO)

Just one player's opinion here, but I doubt you will find any of the basses on your trade list better than what you already have in hand. I'd hang onto that G&L... they are versatile and have good fundamental tone. If I hadn't found boutique basses that completely tickle my playing fancy (and all cost way, way more), I would own your exact instrument as my main gigging bass. In fact, the best bassist I have personally gigged with does play an L-2500.

Thanks pocketmonster!

You are probably right. I did say I reserved the right to pull this listing if I came to my senses.

I've got a 2008 USA Fender Deluxe Jazz V. But its kind of a frankenstien. I've installed Sadowski Vintage J5 Pickups, heavy duty Hipshot A-style Bridge, and a P5 Neck. I also had the inside fully shielded. Plays and sounds great. I have all original parts (besides the neck) and can include them if you like.
