I know I'm new around here and I appreciate you all checking out the pics and sending the PM's. It's been a cool welcome to the board.

Anyway....

I don't want (in any way shape or form) to part with these instruments but I must sell as I've got a "this is no s*!t, honest-to-goodness, died-in-the-wool", real live emergency on my hands.

Contact me at: paulslagle@aol.com

TOBIAS

One of one of a kind Tobias six string bass. There is not, has never been, nor will there be, another Tobias built like this. A bolt-on Tobias bass built with many of the appointments you would find on a Tobias Signature. This instrument was built for me when I worked at Tobias.

Specs:

34" string length
Alder back, Wenge Tone Plate, Flamed Purpleheart Top
Clear Finish
Maple Neck w/Wenge Stringers
Pauferro Fingerboard
Hand Rubbed Tung Oil Finish on Neck
Shaller Tuning Machines
Tobias/Bartolini Pickups
Bartolini Electronics

It's pretty much mint, comes with original Tobias hard shell case and a few sets of Tobias strings.

$2900.00 O.B.O.

DINGWALL Z2-6

This very nice custom made, one of a kind Dingwall Z2 bass has been played (I know you don't believe it, but it's true) on six rehearsals and one gig. Finding a Dingwall Z, or Prima series instrument for sale is not common. If you were to purchase a Z2 bass like this, the "Bro Deal" cost would be over $5600.00

Specs:

Dual Density Ash body
Exhibition Grade Quilted Maple Top
Transparent Purple (ish) Finish
Maple neck Wenge Fingerboard w/Zero Fret
Gotoh Tuning Machines
Hipshot Drop Tuner on B String
Bartolini Pickups
Dingwall Electronics

This is a really fantastic bass and well worth the dough. Plays great, sounds amazing, is in better than excellent condition and comes with a strap with the Straplocks installed and the original Dingwall gig bag.

$3000.00 o.b.o.

MTD 635-24 #88

This is such a fantastic MTD. There is just so much right with this bass. It plays great, sounds great, sits in a mix and cuts through at the same time, all the while having a voice of it's own. It has some playing wear. Thumb by the top of the pickups thing.

Specs:

35" string length
Ash Body
Hand Rubbed Catylyzed Oil Finish
Maple Neck
Wenge Fingerboard
24 Frets
MTD spec Bartolini Pickups
Bartolini Electronics

$2850.00 with original MTD hard shell case

Cool basses man!

But there is no need to keep posting new threads! Just find your old thread, and post something like "bump" or "ttt".

Just helping you out!

Thanks for the helpful hint. That'll be a lot easier than the way I've been doing it.

Cheers!

You also might want to delete the other ones. You only need one thread.
