Gibson thunderbird , 1991 with case-good balance

This is a 1991 Gibson thundebird. I was told the pickguard was not original , other then that everything else was.

The bass has a ding where your wrist would be you can see , and a ding on the back of the headstock. There is some light buckle marks but really the bass is pretty ding free.

The thing is it has ALOT of finish checking , some like me dig that others wont. Its all over but the finish is intact, it looks very cool like a NOS bass from fender custom shop paint job.

The case has a bit of wear and the handle was rigged with a piece of rubber as the original handle is missing. Its a solid case and will last another 20 years at least , well if your roadies are nice.

Its a good old bird , sounds good , plays well and this is my 4th gibson t bird, I am no expert but i know a solid example when i see one.

Oh and this one really is thee best balancing bird i have owned and played , it only has a tad bit of neck dive and thats with a cheap , skinny , nylon strap.

Its hard to find a good bird under 1000$ and here is one.

975$ shipped conus , paid in a way fee of fees

Here you are able to see the ding where your wrist would be roughly , its right towards the tip

Here you are able to see a ding on the bottom of the stock

Yes of course. It would be great if you could PM me a shipping quote to Germany and Greece. Your price is super sweet but the extras costs might be too much. I know for sure they will rape me in the customs(especially in Germany.I am pretty sure that's where all the nazi officers got secretely transfered after WW2)
