Thought about selling this before, decided to hold onto it, now I'm selling it again. I just picked up another fretless with a lined board and I realized that for me, lined boards are the way to go. This is still about my favorite bass ever, but I gotta go with what works for me.
It's in good shape with the exception of a few nicks and dings, the most obvious being the result of an errant drumstick and located right below the neck heel. It was strung with TI Jazz flats for a while and I recently put a set of TI Acousticores on it. Brilliant strings, IMO, that match really well with the bass. I've got Hipshot Ultralight tuners on there right now, but I'm probably going to swap those out for the original set as I've got another use planned for them, though if you'd like them left on there I'll happily include them for an extra $90.
Asking $700 + shipping in a hard case. Open to offers as well.
Open to trades up or down for lined fretless 4s and 5s, particulary acoustics, though I'm more likely to favor a cash sale to finance a Rob Allen. I've been head-hunting lately, and something fairly lightweight with a good amount of power would be a possibility for me as well.
And, as always, as the world's most neurotic, mercurial bassist, I reserve the right to freak out and keep this. It's just me. I'm working on it
Thanks,
J.

| | Hard rockin' stay-at-home dad | | Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: The soggy state of Oregon | | I have a Godin A4 fretless. My only complaint is that it's not an A5 (five string). It sounds a heck of a lot better through my new Bergantino IP 310 than it ever sounded through my GK/Avatar rig, and I'm no longer considering selling mine after playing it today through the new rig. With the TI flats on it, it's a terrific bass -- about as close to an upright sound as you can get with a regular bass.
Bump for a great bass at a good price. This is a poor man's Rob Allen or Rick Turner, and worth every penny. Somebody buy this!

It's far more versatile than you'd think, and the line markers on the edge of the fretboard are all I need to keep me from losing intonation.
Good luck with the sale!
